Features & Benefits

Material strength

The Jetstream housing and damper is manufactured from fire retardant ABS plastic to provide a robust and durable product.

Motor protection

All SJS units have integral thermal overload protection which prevents the motor from overheating.

Flexibility

A three speed backward curved centrifugal impeller increases the flexibility by allowing the desired speed setting to be selected either at the time of installation or by an optional remote mounted three speed switch.

Innovative

When dampers are fitted normally, this means a high pressure loss, but the patented optional Smooth flow backdraught damper has superb performance characteristics resulting in virtually no effect on the fans performance.

Quality assurance

All units are designed and manufactured with procedures as defined in BS EN ISO 9001: 2008.

Ease of installation

Mounting the Jetstream is made easy with the simple ‘Clip in’ mounting bracket which can be installed beforehand, the fan then simply clips into position when ready.

Full accessory range

Speed controllers, reducing duct adaptors, silencers, fast clamps, panel filters, non return dampers and Y-pieces.

Casing

The all plastic casing provides a long lasting, robust and non corrosive construction.

The units have been constructed from shockproof, heat resistant ABS plastic, with both motors and impellers mounted within the length of the unit casing.

Motors

Highly efficient, maintenance free external rotor motors shall be used, matched to the aerodynamic performance of the impeller.

These shall be protected to IP44 and suitable for speed control and working temperatures of up to +50℃.

Electrical connection to the motor shall be provided by an IP54 terminal box fitted to a 1000mm long flying lead.

Impellers

Impellers shall be single inlet backward curved centrifugal type.

Quality Management

Units are to be designed and manufactured with procedures as defined in BS EN ISO 9001: 2008. Jetstream SJS units are to be tested to ISO 5801:1997 (airside performance) and BS 848 Part 2 : 1985 (sound performance).
