The QUBe SQU-HT is a multi-discharge, double skinned fan unit incorporating the high performance backward curved Ziehl-Abegg RH-C impeller designed specifically for operation without a scroll. With motor out of the airstream it is suitable for more arduous and elevated temperature applications. The unit is supplied as either an end inlet vertical discharge unit (QUBe-HT) or as a side inlet vertical discharge unit (QUBe-HTs)*.

Material strength
Self supporting corrosion-resistant extruded Aluminium section, assembled with aluminium corners ideally suited for elevated temperature applications.
Motor performance
Three phase multi-voltage IP55 TEFC motor, wound for either (Delta) 230V/3Ph/50Hz or (Star) 400V/3Ph/50Hz connection, which is mounted out of the airstream, suitable for speed control with the Eltadrive VSD range of frequency inverter controls. Customer connection direct to the IP55 motor terminal box.
Quality Impeller Design
High efficiency backward curved welded steel impeller with a non-overloading power characteristic, suitable for continuous S1 operation up to 120°C, finished with a powder coating to RAL 5002 for greater surface protection.
Choice
Straight through airflow as supplied. Discharge position can be altered on site.
Quality assurance
End inlet or side inlet with vertical discharge as supplied.
Ease of installation
An easily removable motor/impeller assembly arrangement, ideal for frequent cleaning or maintenance.

Casing
Constructed from self supporting corrosion-resistant extruded Aluminium section, assembled with shock resistant fibreglass reinforced Polyamide PA6 corners, and 25mm thick Double skinned fully inter-changeable removable panels, manufactured from pre-galvanised steel, in-filled with a non flammable mineral wool, 60kg/m3, thereby minimising breakout noise.
Motors
Three phase multi-voltage IP55 TEFC Foot / Flange mounted IEC frame motors, wound for either (Delta) 230V/3Ph/50Hz or (Star) at 400V/3Ph/50Hz connection, suitable for speed control when used with the Eltadrive VSD range of frequency inverter controls.
Motors are pre-wired to an IP55 terminal box mounted on the side, for easy customer connection.
Impellers
A high efficiency backward curved welded steel impeller with a non-overloading power characteristic, finished with a powder coating to RAL 5002 for greater surface protection, and dynamically balanced to G2.5 / G6.3 according to ISO1940 part 1.
Quality Management
Units are to be designed and manufactured with procedures as defined in BS EN ISO 9001: 2008. All QUBe units are to be tested to ISO 5801:2007 (airside performance) and BS 848 Part 2: 1985 (sound performance).
