Low profile

Casings are of compact design which allows ease of fitting.

Material strength

A robust unit with a double skin galvanised sheet steel casing in powder coat finish with fire resistant mineral wool infill for excellent sound characteristics.

Komfovent Heat Recovery Unit has a 12 month warranty.

Performance

High efficiency pressed aluminium impellers are directly driven by an AC external rotor motor, designed to provide high performance characteristics.

Filtration

Units are equipped with compact, high quality air filters and filter monitoring providing customer notification of service period of filters.

Electrical

All units are suitable for 220-240V 1 phase operation or 380-440V 3 Phase dependant on model. All the AC motor specified units operate only on 50Hz whilst all EC motor specified units can operate on 50Hz or 60Hz

All units are designed and manufactured with procedures as defined in BS EN ISO 9001: 2008.

Heat Recovery

SREGO units incorporate a rotary heat exchanger which recovers heat up to 90%. Rotary heat exchangers work on the principle of heat recovery: A rotating aluminium rotor absorbs heat of the exhaust air and warms up the air supplied to the ventilated premises. SRECU units incorporate a plate heat exchanger which recovers heat up to 65%, the heat of the exhaust air is transferred to supply air through aluminium plates of the heat exchanger. Air flows through the heat exchanger crosswise. Unit design prevents cross contamination of the exhaust air with fresh air.


Casing

Panels are double skinned comprising two galvanised steel sheets, infilled with fire resistant thermal and sound attenuating insulation – mineral wool (l = 0,036W/mK). Units with 45 mm thick insulation may operate in unheated premises. Doors are manufactured with 45 mm insulation and equipped with locks. External casing surfaces are powder painted: RAL 7035 as standard preventing the unit from corrosion.


Control Elements

Units incorporate an Integrated control system which ensures safe operation of the unit, controls preset ventilation system parameters, and optimise unit operating costs. C3 and C4 controllers are used in SREGO / SRECU dependant on model.


Motors

The range of units may have either EC or AC external rotor motors fitted as standard. The motors contain sealed for life bearings.

Tests and preparation of the sound data have been carried out in accordance with BS 848 Part 2:1985 at 50% peak pressure.
The In-duct Sound Power Level Spectra are in dB re-1pW.
The overall A-weighted sound pressure level is at a distance of 3m with spherical free-field propagation. It is expressed in dB re-20µPa and is presented for comparative purposes only.
