Quality assurance

All units are designed and manufactured with procedures as defined in BS EN ISO 9001: 2008

Tested to the very latest standards

SCH units are tested to ISO 5801:1997 (airside performance) and to BS 848 Pt 2:1985 (sound performance) meaning accurate, up to date information on performance and noise data that can be relied upon.

Performance

All SCH are powered by an external rotor motor.

Impeller design

Aerodynamically designed backward curved centrifugal impellers in either steel or aluminium dependant upon impeller selection.

Material strength

The all metal cowls have a robust, long lasting construction, manufactured from galvanised steel

Mounting

Can be mounted at angles up to 30° which means the fans can be fitted directly to pitched roofs

Reliability

Motors have sealed for life bearings.

Casing

The all metal fan casing provides a long lasting and robust construction.

The casings are manufactured from pre-galvanised sheet steel.

The wind band shall incorporate quick-release toggle clamps to provide easy access for cleaning and maintenance.

All SCH units can be mounted at angles up to 30℃.

Motors

Motors shall be external rotor, squirrel cage induction, with sealed for life ball bearings.

Motors shall be minimum IP44 protected and minimum Class 'B' insulation.

All units are suitable for operating temperatures of up to +50℃.

Impellers

Aerodynamically designed backward curved centrifugal impellers constructed in aluminum or galvanised sheet steel.

Motor and impeller are balanced to quality class G6.3.

Quality Management

Units are to be designed and manufactured with procedures as defined in BS EN ISO 9001: 2008.
