Features & Benefits
Material strength
The all metal cowls have a robust, long lasting construction, manufactured from galvanised steel and powder coated after forming.
Impeller design
Aerodynamically designed backward curved centrifugal impellers in either sheet steel or aluminium dependant upon impeller selection.
Tested to the very latest standards
SCHT units are tested to ISO 5801:1997 (airside performance) and to BS 848 Pt 2:1985 (sound performance) meaning accurate, up to date information on performance and noise data that can be relied upon..
Quality assurance
All units are designed and manufactured with procedures as defined in BS EN ISO 9001: 2008.
Easy cleaning
The wind band is held in place with toggle clamps to permit easy access for cleaning and maintenance when the units are installed in atmospheres that are dirt laden
High temperature
With motors out of the air stream, the SCHT is suitable for a wide range of applications from contaminated air to elevated temperatures.
Reliability
Motors have sealed for life bearings.

Casing
The all metal cowls shall provide a long lasting and robust construction, manufactured from pressed galvanised sheet steel and powder coated after forming
The wind band shall incorporate quick-release toggle clamps to provide easy access for cleaning and maintenance.
All SCHT units can be mounted at angles up to 15℃.
Motors
Motors are to be foot mounted totally enclosed metric type to IP55, with sealed for life bearings, standard industrial paint finish and Class F insulation to EN 60034-5, suitable for operating temperatures of up to +50℃.
Motors are to be wired via a weatherproofed cable to an IP55 protected terminal box.
Impellers
Aerodynamically designed backward curved centrifugal impellers constructed in aluminum or galvanised sheet steel.
Motor and impeller are balanced to quality class G6.3.
Quality Management
Units are to be designed and manufactured with procedures as defined in BS EN ISO 9001: 2008.
All SCHT units are to be tested to ISO 5801:1997 (airside performance) and BS 848 Part 2: 1985 (sound performance).
