Casing
The all plastic casing provides a long lasting, robust and non corrosive construction.
The units have been constructed from shock proof, heat resistant plastic, with both motors and impellers mounted within the length of the unit casing.
The robust neutral coloured external plastic grille is designed to suit most brick colours Fly mesh is fitted to the inside of the grille as standard to keep out insects.
Motors
Highly efficient, maintenance free external rotor motors shall be used, matched to the aerodynamic performance of the impeller.
Motors shall be Class B insulated to EN 60034-5. Motors are connected in accordance with EN60335-1, double insulated with in-built thermal overload protection.
These shall be protected to IP44 and suitable for speed control and working temperatures of up to +50℃.
Impellers
Impellers shall be single inlet backward curved centrifugal type.
Quality Management
Units are to be designed and manufactured with procedures as defined in BS EN ISO 9001: 2008.
All SEIE units are to be tested to ISO 5801:1997 (airside performance) and BS 848 Part 2: 1985 (sound performance).
